The State interviewed several voters during yesterday's primary election. 73-year-old Mildred Ellison had this to say about why she voted for Bob Staton instead of Karen Floyd:

"I don?t like this school voucher debate. Plus, I saw a picture of Ms. Floyd in a debate, and her skirt was way up here. We don?t need that in schools."

I had a horrible sinus headache last week. Since I'm breastfeeding, I couldn't take any decongestants. I tried Tylenol, spicy foods, and a cold washcloth on my forehead - none of those really helped.

My mother-in-law mentioned that one of her friends who used to suffer from sinus problems cleared her head for good by drinking a concoction made from one spoonful of honey, one spoonful of vinegar, and warm water. I decided to try it that evening, using apple cider vinegar so it wouldn't taste too bad.

Shockingly, my headache was gone by noon the next day. So I'm sharing this remedy with the world at large, should anyone else need it.
